Vancouver Mainland Football League (VMFL) Information

The Titans are members of and play in the Vancouver Mainland Football League.

The number of teams and divisions in each association vary from year to year. The VMFL includes Atom, PeeWee, Jr. Bantam, Bantam and Midget divisions in tackle football. Flag football is also available.

As members of the VMFL we are bound to the rules as set out in the VMFL Handbook. As few of the rules that should known are:

• Divisions are set by age only
• All player must be on a verified roster to play in a league game.
• Shoes must have rubber moulded cleats
• Attached mouthguards must be worn
• All players at Bantam and below must play a minimum of 10 plays (including kickoff etc.) per game
• Spectators are not allowed on the Team bench side of the field ( this is difficult to enforce at Carnarvon but we ask for your cooperation)
• Smoking in the team bench and game field areas - For the benefit of the children we ask parents not to smoke during games or practices
• CFL rules apply with a few exceptions (Blocking is above the waist except between the tackles on the offensive line)
• Head tackling and blocking are not allowed
• PeeWee & JB - Kicked convert = 2 points, Run convert + 1 point
